
Traditional Japanese Shoji Screens and Sliding Doors by Shoji Designs are a wonderful way to let light into your home. Suited to a traditional or contemporary interior with Oriental flair, the Shoji  Interior designer Mary Wong Ho-yan, of Haven Design, was presented with an unusual challenge  Charcoal window blinds, industrial-looking doors in glass and glossy black, and dark skirting boards  The 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, which opened its doors to the public in 2004  (Originally published in Japanese. Created in cooperation with Kanazawa Cable Television.)  As the Museum of Modern Art begins the final stage  overlooked artists like Shigeru Onishi, a Japanese experimental photographer, or Hervé Télémaque, a Haitian-born painter who is now 81.
